Adopt a Donkey
A recommendation by tatorandtots
tatorandtots' recommendation
I'd like to state for the record that I did not come online tonight to buy a donkey.
However, there are a few phrases in life that I have discovered I can't resist.
"He is a very mischievous donkey" is one of them.
So may I introduce my new donkey, Oscar to you. Yes. I paid 15 pounds to adopt a donkey. Yes, I realize I will never hear the end of this. No, you may not pet my donkey. Go adopt your own.
**For a few extra quid, get the DVD of your donkey so you can show him off to your friends. Or just stare at him and air pet him. Whichever. (via AVerte)

This is the real thing. You only have to pay 15 pounds a year (UK) to adopt a donkey. Imagine the look on your Mom's face when you give her the card with this sweet picture of her own adopted donkey. trust me when I say that no other mother will be the recipient of such a fine and memorable Mother's Day gift.
Pictured here is Oscar. Born in 1994, he is said to be a very mischievous donkey. He lives on a sanctuary in Birmingham.

Great idea and perfect for animal lovers.
I find the fact that you've tagged this "entertainment" compelling beyond words. But then, if one were to go to the trouble of adopting a donkey, I guess sitting around watching it perform would, ideally, be pretty entertaining. I want to cast my vote for livestock adoption being the new face of Entertainment at ThisNext.
