I saw both of these movies at the drive-in when I was a kid and was mesmerized. The story of orphans Tia and Tony and their telekinetic powers was mind-blowing to me. For weeks I went around trying to levitate random objects (with no success of course). Kids in my day found both tales riveting. I'm pretty sure that the special effects aren't as special anymore. But let's just say that their true origins to end up being out of this world! (via amazon.com)
