I saw Lisa Randall talk tonight on the Charlie Rose Show. If she's as good a writer as she is a speaker, then I want to read this book. (via Charlie Rose)

Einstein, quantum physics, string theory -- all these things have inspired things I've written in the past year. Currently reading this book, it's engrossing and rife with new metaphors for ideas that have been written to death (relativity, for one) and plunges forth with the new ideas from the cutting edge of physics.

And it's the only theoretical physics book written by a woman.
