I love cardigans, and as summer draws to a close I'm already looking forward to my winter wardrobe. This cardigan has those geezer pockets more often found on heavier cable-knit sweaters on the front, a detail that adds maturity while still looking sharp. This one is light enough to be layered, but warm enough for the Southern California fall and winter. YMMV if you live somewhere that actually gets cold.
