I got an Xbox 360 awhile ago. I vowed I wouldn't become a video-game geek (I'm plenty geeky enough, thank you) but this game has me unfortunately hooked. It's a strategy game and a darn good one. What distinguishes this game from others in the genre and makes it so good: 1. Modern and slightly futuristic warfare 2. Real time decision making, no fake turns - it's war! 3. Super cool graphics with an on the battlefield view (no gods eye view in the sky) 4. Voice commands to control your units (you don't have to use it but works very well) And the most important... 4. The coolest multiplayer system of almost any game. There is a single player campaign mode you can play, but you can skip it and go straight to the Theater of War, an interactive map of the world with around 50 major cities. You choose to fight for either the Americans, The European Corps, or the Russians. Once you choose your team, you fight with them against the other 2 . You play individual battles either solo or with up to 4 teammates. Each battle determines the fate of the War in general, which can last weeks, with one side eventually winning. It's extremely coordinated and cool. If you are a fan of multiple outcome, high decision making games with cool graphics or a lover of the genre, this game is a must buy.
