Wes Anderson captivates us with each of his brilliantly designed films, but the music is not to be overlooked. The Life Aquatic soundtrack features David Bowie, Seu Jorge, and Mark Mothersbaugh (who also composed much of The Royal Tenenbaums). I love the Brazilian influence - Seu Jorge is a name to follow.

Wes Anderson's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" is about an oceanographer Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) and his shipmates glide in a submarine past an undersea panorama of wondrous and delightful creatures. They are seeking the dreaded jaguar shark that ate Steve's beloved partner. Love the soundtrack, partly because it has my most favorite Bowie hits.
