I've had my old 40GB iPod for 3 years now, and it still runs strong. However the battery life has never been enough for a really long day at work, let alone 2 if I forget to charge it at night, and my music collection long surpassed it's capacity ages ago. 160 GB would hold all my music and a few movies for the occasional plane trip. Better yet, it could store photos from the camera when I'm travelling.

This is my favorite product of the last 10 years. Not only can I take my entire music library everywhere I go, but now I can add my videos and pictures, too! I love the new cover flow feature on the new iPod classic--you can see the album artwork for your library come to life. If that's not enough, it's small enough to fit in your pocket. I can't believe I used to have one of those big ol' granny-style portable cassette players. This product is amazing!

I love my iPod Nano. I think the iPod is one of the best gadgets to take over the world since cell phones. The 160 GB is definitely in line for my next iPod upgrade. I love that there is so much space so I won't have to continuously delete albums and songs after I purchase new ones. If you are going to get an iPod, I definitely recommend going for this spacious gem because that 2GB or 4GB on the others will be gone before you know it.

I have it in silver. Love it. At this moment, it has twice as much memory as my laptop.

With 80GB or 160GB of storage, iPod classic gives your music and video room to move. It also has plenty of energy (up to 40 hours of audio playback), good looks (a sleek, all-metal design), and a great personality (a brand-new interface with Cover Flow). In other words, iPod classic makes an ideal companion.

The 160GB iPod is basically the original video iPod updated with more storage. It is still a great device and has had a few useful updates. However they haven't improved upon the included headphones, get new ones for better sound. The interface has been updated to be like the iPod touch and nano. There is a Cover Flow feature that displays the cover of the album as you scroll through your music. Also, it has been updated with a screen saver to help conserve battery power when you are listening to music. The appearance is pretty much the same the main change is that Apple went from shiny plastic to a brushed aluminum that is harder to scratch. Great for having lots of storage for all of your music, photos, and video.
