A diet that prescribes drinking red wine? Sign me up!

But no, it's not exactly a diet to lose weight. It's a plan to live long and healthy.

Roger Corder's Red Wine Diet reveals that compounds called procyanidins are the key components of wine for preventing illness. However, it's not just any red wine. Grape variety, wine-making style, and other factors, can affect levels of procyanidins. Is a Syrah better than a Cab? (I hope so). Is California better than France? Corder employs a personal rating system, to describe the most beneficial wines he's found to date and includes recipes featuring foods that are also high in procyanidins.

well, the evidence is piling up around us - red wine is one of the healtiest things you can put into your body. it reduces one's risk of a stroke, prevents heart diesease, and lowers blood pressure. take the example of people living in Greece. they have a hearty, moderate diet of red wine and the average lifespan is among the best in the world.
