HP has been the King of Calculators for as long as I can remember. Well, ever since HP dethroned Texas Instruments as the primary manufacturer and marketer of calculators. The HP 12C is the classic workhorse calculator for anyone in either securities analysis or financial analysis. I preferred the old HP 17 B-II because you could use it in either RPN or algebraic mode. But, the HP 17 B-II+ is the worthy heir to the throne as a great workhorse business and finance calculator.
