If you want to see Robert DeNiro in a role you've never seen him in before, then definately see this movie. Also, Robin Wiiliams is digestible and even extremely likeable (think Good Will Hunting) in this dramatic film. Williams is a psychiatrist in a mental hospital who thinks he's found a medicine that can cure a condition that leaves people catatonic. DeNiro is one such patient. The film begins with DeNiro as a young boy who we slowly watch lose his facilities and slip into catatonia. 30 years later he's given the drug and "wakes" up to a new world. Sounds uplifting right? Well its not all roses in the end.
