I used to be a swiss army knife guy until I got a Leatherman Wave- the wave is simply a better tool. One handed (locking) blade deployment and pliers are the standout features.

The downsides: shitty scissors (compared to a swiss army knife), no tweezers/toothpick, and a redundant selection of flathead screwdrivers.

It comes in handy all the time when you're dealing with skis and wakeboards and bikes and cars.
