If you think about it, behind the deluge of email spam we all get is a great big row of people. People trying to sell you something, or at least steal your money. But they're people out there. Bob Servent is a snarky kind of a guy and he figured this out. He got even with spammers by playing along - playing nice practical little jokes and drawing spammers to their wits end with his tedious replies. It's rather funny. The entire book is written as a collection of email 'tales', each one with the original spam message and then all consequent messages back and forth. Most end in the spammer cursing bob or a simple 'No reply'. I don't know if I'd call it brilliant, but it's certainly deranged, and definitely worth a few laughs.
