This is the next NEW GREAT thing in cookware. This is NOT teflon, that, as you know, is a probable carinogen and releases toxins at high temps (no need to throw out what you have, just don't use it on high and replace with more responsible cookware). If teflon can kill birds when used with high heat, then how could it be alright for our lungs???
This ceramic-based, non-stick cookware is better than other non-stick products, can be heated up to 850 degrees F (what??) in the oven or on the stove, and is scratch-resistant (I'd like to see that) and heats evenly.
Not only is it good for our indoor health, but the process of making it has 40-50% energy savings compared to teflon.
