If the local supermarket were an organic supply store, this would be hanging by a clip next to the cash register like potato chips. What I mean is, it's small and convenient. It's about the same price as purchasing fresh herbs, but you get the gratification of growing it yourself. Good for the window in front of the sink ... in my house anyway.

An easy way to have fresh herbs within reach to add to salads, sauces and other dishes. The leak proof bags make it so you can grow them straight in the package.

These make great gifts for those with a budding green thumb. It's pretty hard to screw these up. Just make sure the soil's moist, and you'll be treated with some little herbs in no time. Make sure to keep a larger pot ready to transplant when they get unwieldy, though.

Potting Shed Creations gardens-in-a-bag let you grow herbs within reach. I love these (and all their products) because miniature herb gardens grow right out of the bag, on a windowsill or anywhere there is sunlight. And they make wonderful, inspiring projects for children.

I have the mini tomato growing nicely. I'm still waiting for the tomatoes, but I'm sure they'll be up soon! So easy to grow.

An eco-friendly way to grow your own little windowsill herb garden. This is a great little stocking stuffer or large corporate gift. It's not as predictable as chocolates and gets a lot of sunshine for the buck ($6.95 bucks, actually). Cute!
