If foodies in NYC have a holy shrine, its probably Zabars! I am completely enamored with this store! From obscure cheeses to fresh meats to about every kitchen tool and gadget available - they have it! In the spirit of packing a lot of bang into a small space, Zabars's two level location is brimming with great stuff. Expensive knives, all your Bodum toys, small appliances, stemware. They have it. As small as the store is, you can easily spend hours on each floor!

You don't have to be or live in New York to get some of the best kosher soul food around. That's right...Zabar's has a website so you can have something shipped to yourself or your bubby ( aka grandmother).

Baby, it's some of the best lox around!
