Very cool way for kids to learn to use chopsticks. We are definitely packing this for every trip to Sushi Den!
What a delight! (via moderntots.com)

Perfect for those of us who are chopstick-challenged! This little helpers stick onto the top of 2 chopsticks and make it easier for your fingers to get use to this strange way of eating food.

Rigging chopsticks with a rubber band so kids can get a better handle on their food is crafty and all, but there's an easier solution in this Chopstick Kids utensil. The hinges are from food-safe molded silicone rubber and are completely washable. The kit comes in both boy and girl versions and include a set of melamine chopsticks (although they will work with any standard pair of chopsticks).

Here's how you can order Chinese food and teach your kids how to use the chopsticks without another splinter-in-the-eye emergency room visit. Ok, ok, I know you're going to buy them for yourself so you don't embarrass yourself on another first date but I thought I'd give you a clever cover up story.

Having trouble taming your chopsticks? You're not alone. You could practice
for a few more years or you could just call the CHOPSTICK KIDS for help.
These soft, washable, food-safe hinges really keep your chopsticks in line
and add an element of fun to the dining experience. And they're not just for
kids either - Fred uses them himself! The assorted Boy and Girl styles stand
around 2 3/4" tall, and are molded from food-grade silicone rubber, so
they're dishwasher-safe. They come with a nice set of melamine chopsticks,
or you can use them with your own - the openings at the bottom stretch to hold
those break-wood chopsticks or even your nice ivory ones. Each set is packed
in a handsome peggable clear box measuring around 7.5" x 2.5" x 1".

My son gets so frustrated when we go out to dinner at Chinese restaurants because he can't use the chopsticks very well. These little clips make it soooooo much easier for kids to use chopsticks. He's getting one for Valentine's Day. Shhhh....don't tell him. It's a surprise.
