Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream
Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream Company is hand made on a farm in Sonoma, CA where the 350 goats roam and graze freely in the majestic fields. These must be some very happy goats, because their milk, and the ice cream that is made from it, is outrageously good. Goat's milk is low in fat and low in lactose, which makes it easier to digest than cow's milk. Other local ingredients are added to make flavors like Chocolate Cabernet, Chevre Chiffon and Pumpkin Spice, which CH highly recommends. Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream is available directly from the farm. Minimum order is $32, which includes 4 pints of your choice and shipping. Live on the west coast? My wife and I are currently working on getting pregnant and she is trying to "get healthy" in preparation. One food she can't live without is chocolate ice cream. Thanks to a lactose-intolerant friend, we were turned on to Laloo's Goat Milk Ice Cream. Apparently, it has almost half the fat and calorie content than moo milk and tastes just as good! My wife swears by the Deep chocolate. I like the vanilla myself. They've got a bunch of flavors that are certainly more innovative and unique than the traditional ones. I think there is a coupon on the home page too! (www.laloos.com)
This is great stuff. You can't get any more natural. If you are lactose intolerant you got to try it. It will change your life. If you aren't lactose intolerant, its quality is worth trying. I got at Whole Foods in their freezer section.
When you have someone on a special diet in your family, dessert always seems to be the hardest item to come up with. Luckily the foks at LaLoo's came up with something that is EVEN better than ice cream. This fabulous goats milk ice cream is perfect for lactose intolerant eaters, and even people that are on special diets where dairy isn't an option. This Strawberry Darling flavor is not only made is very few ingrediants, but it is swirled with balsamic vinegar. YUMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYY!
