Whether you’ve had the pleasure of vacationing in the Hamptons or not, this fragrance really captures the essence of a sunny late summer afternoon on the back patio, a romantic picnic on the beach or even a casual bike ride in the countryside. Being a semi-Hamptonite myself, I must say this certainly evokes memories of walking along Dune Road.

It’s crisp and green like seaside grass with sparkling bergamot, lemon verbena and orangeflower that leaves your spirits high. The privet bloom, for which the perfume is named, is actually native to Long Island. You’ll find this flowering bush with tiny white blooms all throughout the Hamptons. Other notes include sweet muguet, white hyacinth and gardenia, which blend delicately into the scent without being too strong. Hampton Sun has basically bottled the beach for you. This is a must for all passionate beach goers. (via SheFinds)
