Upon first listen, I thought Bon Iver was good. After I saw them live I can now truly appreciate the recorded material. I like the sparse arrangements on the recordings but the full band live absolutely blew me away.

wherever i am, when i hear Justin Vernon i cry. his voice is so deep and soulful and his music reminds me of winter (my favorite season), people i love, and getting away. its calming and amazing. I really can't do him much justice with a recommendation, i just think he's an amazing artist.
