just ordered five of them as "earthday" gifts for pals who shop & schlep & climb & heft groceries and other things all over new york city. they're delightful, they're attractive, and they are SO much better than those flimsy annoying environmentally pathetic plastic shopping bags. and they now have a U.S. outlet and a WHOLE lot of new bags, available in a nifty pouch containing several different brightly colored bags, good for gifts and good for ALL.

What a great unisex way to get rid of plastic grocery bags that clutter the landfills - stop using your 500 per year (American average) and use these instead. Great for grocery shopping, beach bag, reading or office tote, craft tote and... use your imagination!! Each bag holds the equiv of 2 normal grocery bags.

I feel guilty using these and claiming that the reason relates to my saving the planet. Really, these waterproof, reusable, tough grocery bags keep coming with me to the grocery store is that I can't resist accessorizing my hunting and gathering. I suppose it doesn't hurt to not toss all those nasty plastic bags.

I just received my first package from Delight.com and it was soooooooooo nice. Everything was carefully wrapped and placed in the box that it made it that more special. I am recycling the wonderful tissue paper as it's in perfect condition too! I love, love, love the Sigg Curve bottle... I cannot wait to take it to my Spanish Immersion class tonight (I will be sure to tell them all about Delight.com). I also purchased the envirosax and love the black and white prints. Much more stylish than my mesh Whole Foods or Sonoma Market bag :) I love how they all fold up so nicely and snap together so you can drop one or two into your purse or go. I am going to purchase another set to put in my husband's car on the occasion that he runs by the market. I know I will receive remarks about these and I cannot wait to spread the Delight word! I have already posted about it on my blog at http://posh-mama.blogspot.com and have your RSS feed on my site as well. Already 3 of my friends have purchased the envirosax as well. I LOVE this product! First, no more plastic bags cluttering up my closet or the landfills! Second, they hold SO MUCH! Third, they have long handles the you can tie to keep your items from falling out on the ride home (I just discovered that this morning as I loaded my car leaving the supermarket at 6 am). Fourth, the handles are long enough so you can carry the bags over your shoulder like handbag -- much easier than holding short plastic bag handles. Fifth, they are so small and light I keep one or two in my purse all the time -- and I have a pretty small purse! I've never loved another online purchase more! They are going to be my holiday gift to everyone this year!

I love these bags. Super lightweight and small when rolled up--they work for all those places that don't have paper bags (think Target, etc.) and especially for groceries! Even those paper bags are, ahem, a bit structurally unsound and have been known to explode while containing a full bags worth of food. These are a no-brainer!

Hold more than the average plastic bag of groceries. Hold TONS of weight. I've put some seriously heavy shit in these bags with no effort. We're talking, half a dozen wine bottles. Straps are big enough to go over your shoulder. Roll up into teeensy tiny little balls you can put in your purse or glove box. Perfect for farmers markets, trips to the grocery, home depot - EVERYWHERE. I love mine.
