The Flip Video Ultra is minimalist in design. The pocket-size camera can take up to an hour of footage, easily hook to your computer via USB, and upload to YouTube within minutes. There are only a few buttons: on/off, record, play, trash. For Apple users, here's one tip: once plugged in, drag the video clips onto your desktop or a folder and import straight into iMovie. Don't worry about the Mac program they have, it seems weird. Anyway, this tool is something I am going to use for a very very very long time now.

Love this darn thing! I have a four month old and it's been a blast being able to actually email videos small enough for my family and friends to see! I live overseas so it is a great way to make them feel closer to his everyday changes and fun stuff he does. The USB that comes off the side plugs into your computer and then you have the option of using the FlipVideo software that will help you to publish the video and send a link or reduce the file size to send the video from your own email...I bet this would be awesome for You Tubers.
