Uses 20 watts, for 75 watts worth of light. Works during a brownout, when regular bulbs don't. Available at Ace Hardware, or buy them cheap on line at BulbAmerica.com. These have a 5 year warranty. If every home replaced even 1 lightbulb with a c.f., the energy savings would be enormous.
