Okay, you just HAD to see Wayfarers coming back. The time was right in so many ways.

But I hate wearing what everyone else wears. This now-discontinued Ray-Ban style has a heavy-ish/small-ish look by today's standards, with a very authoritative-looking flat browline. On a quick glance across the pool, it's hard to tell if they are a contemporary style, a retro style, or just out of style-- which perhaps they are.

They are sold as optical (clear, prescription lenses) but I love them as an alternative style of sunglasses. They are classic zyl construction with spring hinges.

Because they are disontinued, they seem to be a little bit hard to find but prices are discounted. The main image is my seimi-lame attempt to show how they look with tinted lenses but you can see them with clear by clicking through.
