I feel this is a great play station to have for both kids and adults. The kids can play there games while the adults can work out and home and have lots of fun doing it. They can even do it with there kids or against there friends.

The wii is great for people who aren't into first person shooter games or the like. It offers more "family" style entertaiment- something that your girlfriend can actually play and kick some mild butt with. Until they came out with Mario Kart for the wii I was totally satisfied with bowling//sports- but that game opened up a whole new era for me: to put it simply- best game ever.
The wii fit is also good- if you use it. My boyfriend and I are competing; its really great for that. :)
