If there's one thing my Mother taught me, it was the importance of properly donning a classic Scottish kilt. Britney-Spears-Catholic-Schoolgirl-types always irritated her. That is why I love the genius of Alexander McQueen -- evidenced in his version of the high-waisted long skirt. It's a classic piece, so wear it for seasons to come, and I promise you'll be one classy and sassy lassy.
