I was able to play with this phone during a run in with an HTC rep. HTC is the manufacture of this product as well as the Palm Treo and other well known PDA/Phone devices.
The Touch makes use of the one input device we all have on us at all times, our fingers! Imagine that. It is a windows mobile device so it will play nice with your PC at home. The awesome thing I noted while tinkering with the Touch was how nice and easy the new Windows Mobile Shell was.
Everything just flowed and worked. I am definitely going to keep watch for this device.
