Mr. Bento encourgages me to take a responsible sized portion of 4 different foods, then keeps them warm (or cold) until lunch. Plus, it's not as lame as those soft, insulated lunchbox bags that everyone else at work has.

"Most folks have fond memories of their old-school metal lunchboxes, but sometimes a lunchbox just doesn't cut it, especially when hot or cold food is involved. Enter the Zojirushi Mr. Bento lunch jar, which comes with a series of microwaveable bowls that keep food hot while you're working. The bowls come in 15.2-, 10.1-, 9.5-, and 6.8-ounce sizes, perfect for rice, soup, a main dish, and a side dish. The bowls also stack conveniently inside the washable container, which employs vacuum-insulated stainless-steel construction to preserve the temperature of its contents for hours. If the bowls aren't necessary for your meal, simply use the jar by itself to keep other foods hot or cool. The bundle even comes with an easy-to-carry bag for convenient transport."

These disposable Glad and Ziploc plastic containers aren't as functional for Asian lunches in which there are a ton of little dishes that need their own containers. Mr. Bento is perfect for carrying rice separately from soup separate from bahnchan.

Any lunch box that encourages a balanced diet is okay with me. This lunch box includes a vacuum-insulated stainless-steel round jar with four food bowls that can be stacked inside, plus its own carrying bag. I also love it because it helps to keep your food fresh. Great buy.

I love this!!!! It's a great way to make sure you have a balanced lunch - a container for a starch, one for protein, one for veggies, etc. It's perfect for taking my lunch to work.

And, I love the fact that I don't have to search through mismatched plastic containers and lids every time I decide to take my lunch to work! It's all neatly packed and stored together - adding a little bit of organization and ease to my hectic life.
