If you're going to shop online anyway, try www.ebates.com to see if your merchant is part of the ebates network. Ebates has all kinds of special discounts and % cash back (each merchant is different). It's free to sign up, and there are hundreds and hundreds of top-name merchants. Plus, you get $5.00 in your ebates account just for signing up. When you reach $10 in ebates, they'll send you a check - cold hard cash for doing something you were going to do anyway! (via Ebates)

You can also check out www.Aafter.com that provides cash backs,rebates,grocery coupons and discounts in addition to the discounts provided by the manufacturer.

I can vouch for Ebates. I know it's scary for people to sign up on things, you never know if it's legit. I can tell you that Ebates IS legit. I have received my ebates rebate checks. This is a reputable and honest website.
