This lightweight cleaning demon is really effective. It's light enough to use the shoulder strap to carry it around while vacuuming. I just finished a spackling and sanding job, and this wee vacuum picked up every last bit of sanding residue. I'm impressed! Not only that, but it's orders of magnitude quieter than most handheld vacuums I've owned. It was free with the top of the line Oreck XL machine, but worth every penny. It also has a HEPA filter you never have to change.

Agree with jfedowsky's comments and even worse is the price that people are willing to stump up for these over-priced, outdated products. Do yourselves a favour and get down to Wal-Mart buy a Hoover or Dyson and stop falling for the sales pitch

I'm saddened by the number of people who fall for Dave Oreck's crap! This man is NOT an innovator. He simply buys expired patent licenses on designs of vacuums made by other companies. This handheld was originally designed by General Electric in 1967. Oreck just changed the color and made some modifications to make it look different. Every single Oreck machine was originally another brand.
