Despite this lovely wooden ball having no other purpose than to play "Voi Che Sapete," from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, I'm just drawn to it's simple beauty.

This is a wooden ball that plays music, even as it rolls around. I like the idea. (via productwiki.com)

The Music Orb is a wooden ball made from high quality oak formed into a perfect sphere. With the turn of the key, Mozart's "Voi Che Sapete", a song taken from one of Mozart's comedic opera's, The Marriage of Figaro. The song is played by an 18-note chime that resides inside the ball giving it a kind of hollow and haunting sound. The ball can actually roll around and still produce the music, making it an especially interesting piece.

This appealing round ball is actually a wooden music box. It would make a lovely family gift, especially for those with young children.

Modern yet wonderfully old fashioned, this music orb is hand crafted out of smooth, beautiful oak wood in Germany. A large, removable silver key winds the chime housed inside, which plays "Voi Che Sapete" from Mozart. A little pricey for what it does, but what better way to show your love of design and music? Oh, and orb shaped objects that make sounds.
