I try not to ignore people. I learned to overcome mom SOMEWHAT snobby suburban upbringing and embrace the southern side of my VA roots by saying hi to people and always acknowledging them...unless we are talking about someone who is giving me the eye. Like a gay dude or a chick I am not interested in. You have to ignore them.
