A way to use Elephant Poo.. . Now that's interesting

Even though it is on the "don't want" list, it is also on my wish list

Okay, I'm all for less waste all the way around. Producing things that create less waste, as well as reusing and recycling. However, I never in a million years thought of recycling elephant excrement. That's mainly because there aren't too many elephants in my neck of the woods creating a problem. Elephants are herbivores though, and even one elephant would create quite a bit of...material...to be reused. Now that I have walked all around the issue. Let's talk about what the "poo" is made into. This journal looks very well done. It's aesthetically appealing because of the earth tones used. The paper is lignin and acid-free, as well as recycled. Although, I must admit that the main selling point of this journal is the strange fact that has already been mentioned. There are a million paper products made from recycled materials out there, but this is surely unique. But as the old adage states, "Waste not want not." (via target.com)
