The Linksys Media center extender is network bridge between your TV and the multimedia stored in your PC. This particular set up currently only works with Windows Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate with Windows Media Center enabled. You need to have a high bandwidth wi-fi network for high-def programs or movies or to use it wired. It also has an integrated DVD player.
