I'm not sure I believe that this will work your core as well or better than things like pilates, yoga, and properly performed abdominal exercises. Or that it will work your thighs & glutes as well as squats and lunges. But, horseback riding does work your core, thighs, hips and glutes. So, by imitating that type of action, this will help you work those areas of your body. The key, as with any exercise, is that you have to actually do it.
