Wow! What an eye catching piece! Luxury and dramatic glamor at it's finest.
DETAILS:
Tapestry has an ancient history in Afghanistan as part of the nomadic culture. This beautiful piece is hand-crafted from traditional antique textile; red, green, orange and blue are woven into traditional geometric patterns, bordering the embossed brass medallions. The collar is formed from hundreds of red garnets, fastening with a brass hook and eye clasp at the back. Agate stones are embedded in the diamond shaped brass plaque. Frays of cotton threads, beads and brass bells complete this spectacular antique piece. The neckpiece is backed in cotton. (via Haute Mimi)
