As part of my What's in my bag series. Yes, I admit I have a GPS in my backpack. Which means that if I want to, I can have the exact coordinate of my position on earth, with a precision of a few meters, and still be completely lost. The GPSlim was one of the first pocket sized bluetooth GPS with the new SirfIII chipset, which gives it greater accuracy, and the ability to work within "Urban Canyons" (who inventes these terms?) which means that I can use it int the city as well as on trips, where I can annoy my wife by taking bearings of interesting sites while on vacations.

The bluetooth part means that I can connect to it from my phone, a laptop, and my new phone as soon as I can convinced my self that an upgrade is no longer just a fantasy, but justified. (via oO's very eclectic)
