Empty Quart Paint Can

If storage is an issue, then these cans will come in handy. You will have lots of left-over paint, and potentially, in many different shades (oh, you will go through a period of selecting the worst colors imaginable).
It's important, actually, to keep about a quart of extra paint. For the dings and scratches that need touch-ups in months to come. The quart size cans take much less space, and because it will have less air inside, your paint will maintain longer.
Plus, I simply like clean cans, labeled nicely with paint color and the room it beongs to.
