My theory with upholstery (think sofas & chairs) is that a contrast trim is the quickest way to personalize & dress it up. It's simple. Chic. Classic. And that's what I love about this coat. It's a coat that won't be out of style next season, and in today's economy....that's a good thing, right?

The rounded hem and collar give this coat a decidedly feminine twist, while the contrasting trim creates a modern structure. Sexy and sharp, something I could see Angelina Jolie wearing as Mrs. Smith.
