Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck. and I'm absolutely going to name my son Atticus) is a southern lawyer that is defending a black man (Brock Peters) wrongly accused of raping a white woman. Yikes. Needless to say the odds are stacked against Peters and Peck.
This movie is a classic piece of cinema. A must see! (via Amazon)

We've all inevitably read this book, and it was probably in junior high and we probably watched this instead of reading it. But read it or watch it, it's an iconic story worth seeing (or reading or whatever).

A beautiful adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer winning novel. Gregory Peck's performance as Atticus Finch is fantastic and true to the book :)
