  Trying my best to be green, I purchased a package of ten-count reusable nursing pads. Somewhere along the way I also received a sample set of Lansinoh disposable nursing pads with a goodie bag. A few weeks after I gave birth, when my milk supply came in, I tore into my package of reusable nursing pads and eventually ended up switching to disposable. The material from reusable pads would stick to my breasts (ouch!) so whenever I had to take them off, it would hurt something awful, like peeling off a bandaid that has been on for too long! I tried out the sample set of disposable pads and never looked back! Every now and then when my breasts aren't super tender from nursing, I put on the reusables. I would suggest getting both if you plan on nursing.
