As personalized of a product as it can get, now you can have your very own DNA printed as a giclee, and in nine color options too. You send saliva, they return to you a certified DNA print, nicely produced using pigmented ink on archival quality canvas. I think is pretty freaking cool.

First they brought us the ability to turn a part of our DNA into art, now they went a little low(er) tech to bring us a beautiful rendering of the fingerprints we so carelessly leave behind everywhere.
Its as personal as art can get. What I love about this service is that the printing quality is great and you pick your color so you know it will coordinate with your decor.
I'm a big fan of this!

To me obviously one of the most individualized art gifts that you could give to yourself or someone else. Nothing is more distinct about us than our very DNA. The strand that tells you that you are related to someone else, would be most intriguing to compare. The way that the company takes your "photo" is through a simple swab from your cheek. It's a pity that they can't take DNA from a strand of hair, or something similar from a lost loved one. Now that would be a gift.

A new take on self portrait, now you can capture a a print of your own DNA fingerprint. It comes with a kit that is provided to collect a painless sample of your saliva, which is sent to a certified lab for processing. The result is a replication of your own DNA.

DNA Art on Canvas is cool but there's a company in England i found that can print t on Perspex and also Metal. It's more expensive than the DNA11 guys but it takes DNA Art to the next level. Watch this space. Their site is www.dna-art.co.uk
