Better suited for ringing in the New Year than for chilling on a boat off of Moraco (what that’s not how you spend your Summers?!?), the indie darling that was captivating our hearts before the Proenza boys, Behnaz Sarafpour, recently premiered a collection of resort wear that drew inspirations from the New York socialite.

Hand-painted strapless dresses and feather laced shifts were better suited for the Manhattan streets than the Hampton beaches. Her new collection doesn’t stream far from what she is known best for, mixing NY chic with her own brand of sophistication. (via Fashion Indie)
