Jumpsuits and rompers kind of reentered the ready to wear fashion world not too long ago, and 90% of the time I don't like them. Maurie and Eve managed to change my mind a little with this Smoke Jumpsuit. An elastic cinch at the bust holds the top steady, while elastic cinches at the ankles keep the whole look from getting too disorganized on your body. I do think this piece is different because it has a definitive waist, something that a lot of designers have overlooked and made a wrong decision about. A decent, curvy silhouette is crucial when wearing a lot of one printed fabric and they really nailed it! Also, it follows the acid wash/tie dye thing that has also resurfaced. I'd love to get this in a fitting room!
