Talk about crazy, this movie is freaking insane. I probably watched this movie 20 times while I was in college. Crazy shit is all I have to say. Another winning Johnny Depp movie.

In some varying degree, this film, actually, transports you into the mind of the dysfunctional gonzo journalist, Hunter S. Thompson. The role by Depp is beyond genius and obviously a byproduct of their close friendship.

I think one of my fav. HST quotes is appropriate for this film, "Buy the ticket, take the ride."

"we were 80 miles outside of barstow..." you HAVE to love this book! if you loved the movie you will really love the book. it is so well told and insane!

A fantastic movie that everybody should see. Quite a trip - but a fun one at that.

Thompson and his long time good friend and Attorney is a trip to say the least! Watch as they feast on drugs and booze corrupting nurses and hotel staff along the way!
