This company does away with the middlemen of vanilla. You can buy 20 vanilla pods for 20 Euro. The only problem is that the site is in French - so go run and find the nearest francophone and make them translate for you. As far as I can tell, shipping is included in the cost.

Real vanilla in cooking makes the difference.

Since you'll probably buy a lot at once, you can share this with your friends (or become a vanilla megalomaniac and keep it in a jar in a cold, dark place and just smile evilly any time someone asks how you make your baked goods taste so wonderful). (via Chocolate and Zucchini)
