I still remember the advertisement for Carter's children clothing: "If they could only stay little 'til their Carter's wore out !" Although I didn't appreciate its significance at the time, it dawns on me on how fast my son has grown. I thought that itty bitty denim jacket would fit him forever ! Yet, looking at pictures of him in it, I will never regret what I realize now was probably a frivolous purchase. And if he were still that little, I would buy him this plaid shirt in heartbeat.
