As speakers go...there is nothing like a classic. Jbl's are as classic and reliable for sound as possible. They work off 2 mid-range drivers to produce the rich mids and the size of the dual drivers have the size to push enough air to produce really heart warming bass. The highs are created by a horn tweeter and usually this produces very accurate reproductions.
I would use this speaker for your 2 fronts and a single for your Center channel.
