The Belkin Pivot with 12 outlets eases the pain when you have a few computers, monitors, printers, scanner, speakers, chargers which all need power. Wait, get a UPS for the computers, but the rest can plug into one or two of these.

This is my preferred powerstrip to use with an entertainment center. It keeps everything in one place and it is heavy enough to stay put when you are trying to reach somewhere you can barely rich and unplug something. I trust all things Belkin.
Oh yeah, it protects your equipment too.
