Endangered Species Chocolate
A recommendation by saltimbanca
saltimbanca's recommendation
Endangered Species chocolate is some of the best I've ever tasted. The Sea Turtle bar - dark chocolate with dried blueberries - is especially sumptuous.

Luscious cocoa with just enough milkiness to carry the flavor and cut the potential for bitterness. This is a real treat for anyone who likes rich dark chocolate. No need for the flavored bars, the plain chocolate is enough to satisfy. I've seen these at target, so grab one next time you are there. They are somewhat pricey, but worth every nickle and 10% of profits go to the protections if endangered species.

If you love chocolate, you will have to make this your next purchase. Not only is the quality great, when you buy it a percentage of the money goes to helping endangered animals. Each packet has a different animal on it with it's own story and it does come in milk chocolate, dark and very dark. I like the very dark and it has more anti-oxidants which make it better for you.

it's good chocolate, and it's available at Target...
just don't make ganache out of it if you are planning to share with those that don't like it *very* dark!

This company has a story and a mission and it all stems from ESC’s original founder who was inspired to start the business after working on a fishing boat years ago. He witnessed first hand how many unintended fish were being killed in the process of fishing for certain species. A percentage of all sales goes to benefit groups that protect animal, plant and more recently, the endangered HUMAN species!
