You can rent an Earthship in Taos, NM for a weekend and feel what it's like to live off the grid in a fully sustainable home made out of recycled materials. Everything is solar powered even the fridge. The community has a good vibe with nice people. In this home you will have everything that you need to experience life in an Earthship.
MORE: Water feeds the living system inside such as the banana trees! There are amazing herb gardens. It's like living outdoors and in nature completely.
